Famous Works of Art

One of my favourite fashion editorials of all times is the “Famous Works of Art” by Peter Linderbergh for Harper’s Bazaar staring Julianne Moore. It is a true representation of how timeless the connection between fashion and art can be! Very inspiring….
Julianne Moore as La Grand Odalisque by Ingres for Harper’s Bazaar.
Julianne Moore as Woman With a Fan by Amedeo Modigliani for Harper’s Bazaar.
Julianne Moore as The Cripple by John Currin forHarper’s Bazaar.
Julianne Moore as Madame X by John Singer Sargent for Harper’s Bazaar.

Fashion trends through art and creativity: Guy Catling

Hello, hello.

In my cool hunting over the digital clouds, I've found the creative collage of the graphic designer Guy Catling that I would like to share with you. I came across his work at patternbank.com, displaying one of the must-have trends of the season: the mix of ethnic prints with a folk twist. A great example of how fashion trends can be represented through art and creativity.
